The Restaurant

The current Trattoria Lea opened in Città di Castello in 1910 as a refreshment point for the locals; in 1930 it became Osteria Primo and from 1986 it will be managed by Antonio and his wife Lea, who will give it the name of Trattoria Lea.
Today the activity is run by Cristiano and Marco, the two sons of Lea, who, continuing the family tradition, offer a typical Umbrian cuisine specialized in earthen dishes based on mushrooms and truffles, traditional dishes such as cappelletti in brodo and pasta. with chickpeas and also have an excellent wine cellar.
The pasta is made strictly by hand in the old tradition of the place and the environment is rustic, familiar and very welcoming.
